Sailing yacht »Akka«
Electrical circuitry

»Akka’s« electrical power supply is based on a 40-amp Bosch alternator which, by means of a relay switch, prioritizes the 60-amp starter battery before charging the 100-amp convenience battery. A stowable solar panel (output: 40 Wp) adds to the power supply.

Electricity is passed on to the convenience circuit via two cables of 16 mm² (0.025in²) size each and is switched on or off at the convenience panel by means of a 50-amp ETA circuit breaker.

The convenience panel is equipped with 20 individual ETA switches by which the power consumers are controlled directly or indirectly. Red and green LEDs are used as indicator lights.

The cabin lighting utilizes LEDs throughout.

The mast top unit (a tri-colour light plus an all-round anchor light plus an all-round strobe light) is a »Lopolight« with a range of 5 NM. Bow and stern lights and the masthead light (white, 225°) use conventional light bulbs.

All cables are laid out in a central cable duct.
